<p>Web 2.0 design is the latest fad. Adding a reflection effect to image/text looks really cool. You can use this reflection anywhere to make your image look more attractive.</p>
<p>Here are simple steps to create a reflection effect on Adobe Photoshop -</p>
<p>I. Create a canvas and write any text of your choice, as shown below -</p>

<p>II. Now select the Text-Layer and goto &gt; Layer &gt; Duplicate layer as shown below.</p>

<p>III. Now select your Text-Copy layer, and goto &gt; Edit &gt; Transform &gt; Flip Vertical, your canvas will appear as like below -</p>

<p>IV. Place your copy text close to your original text, and press M to get &#8216;Rectangular Marquee Tool&#8217;, and select the copy text as shown below.</p>

<p>V. Press &#8216;Ctrl+Shift+N&#8217; to create new layer over selected area. Select the &#8216;Gradeint Tool&#8217; from the Toolbox as shown below.</p>

<p>Vi. Now set your foreground color as white from the toolbox. Now from Gradient toolbar select &#8216;Foreground to Transparent&#8217; as shown below.</p>

<p>VII. Now click and drag from below your copy text to level of original text as shown below.</p>

<p>VIII. Now press &#8216;Ctrl+D&#8217; to deselect the selected area. That&#8217;s it you have successfully created a reflection effect for a text, as shown below.</p>

<p>You can repeat the similar steps to create a reflection effect for image.</p>
