Every webmaster have a curiosity about when their recent posts/pages are indexed by Google. Here are some simple steps to find out that -

I. Goto Google.com and search for – site:yourdomain.com
e.g. to find out the recently indexed posts/pages of “webmasters-blog.com” just search for – “site:webmasters-blog.com”

II. Now paste “&as_qdr=d” to end of resulting URL in address bar, as shown below and press ENTER

III. Google Search will display a drop-down box, with various options like anytime,last 24 hrs, last week etc…. as shown below -

Now select whatever option you want and get results with date when that page was indexed by Google.

Goggle updated the PageRank of sites today. Google updates PageRank quarterly. So you can expect next PageRank update at June end or July start.

This PageRank update brought a PR2 for this blog. PR of my other blogs/sites remained the same.

I am still happy, that this blog achieved a PR2 with so less work on it.

Actually I tried this plugin earlier for one of my blogs. Though it was installed successfully,I was not able to build sitemaps with it. I don’t know what was the problem that time. Whenever I click on build sitemap link I use to get some fatal errors. I checked whats worng, but everything was ok,also I changed the permissions of files – ‘sitemap.xml’ and ‘sitemap.xml.gz’ successfully but still no use. But now on this blog everything is fine.

What does this plugin do ?

This plugin creates the sitemap for your blog and submits it to major search engines -  Google,Yahoo,MSN and ASK .This way helps getting more pages from your blog to get indexed in these search engines, thus more chances of getting traffic through these search engines.

Does this plugin improves your Search Engine Ranking ?

I don’t think it can help you get higher ranks in search engine results page.I only indexes more pages from your blog.
